Identification of 3600 m2 of soils affected by light hydrocarbons from aviation jet storage in plots with different intended uses.

Achievement of different soil and water remediation objectives in less than one year.

Methodology applied

Selective excavation – treatment on site soils – hydraulic barrier treatment on site water infiltration.

Stages:

  1. Selective soil excavation with in situ TPH measurement.
  2. Pumping and treatment of water with decantation, separation and stripping. stripping.
  3. Executions of physical and hydraulic barriers with intensive high flow pumping.
  4. Soil treatment with forced aeration in a controlled space.
  5. Final replacement of floors with mechanical conditions suitable for their intended use.
