Waste transfer procedures to be carried out from the ESIR platform as of September

Most communities choose the Ministry’s platform for the submission of documentation.

The Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITERD) has developed a procedure for the procedure for processing waste shipments by the operator, as well as for by the operator, as well as for the acceptance or rejection of the waste by the destination manager. The autonomous communities have chosen whether the electronic processing of this procedure should be carried out through the platform enabled by the Ministry (ESIR) or through the one established in the electronic headquarters of their autonomous government. In most cases, the Ministry’s option will be the mandatory one (see table). This method can be used from March 17, 2021, but will be mandatory from September 1 of the same year.

It should be noted that the electronic procedure is only necessary for waste movements subject to Prior Notification and that it is used for the forwarding of this notification and the Identification Documents.

LITOCLEAN has extensive experience in the processing of documentation with the public administration and advises its clients in this type of procedures in order to streamline them and ensure their proper management.
