The entity has approved the company in the use of two new remediation methodologies
SEMARNAT (Mexico’s Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources) has extended Litoclean’s authorization for the treatment of contaminated soils and soil-like materials contaminated with different hydrocarbon fractions to two new methodologies, bringing the total number of technologies approved by the agency to six.
Litoclean is therefore authorized for vapor extraction at the contaminated site (EXVA-S), aerobic bioventing at the contaminated site (BVAE-S), bioremediation by landfarming next to the contaminated site (LAND-LS), bioremediation by biopiles next to the contaminated site (PILA-LS), chemical oxidation next to the contaminated site (OXIQ-LS) and soil washing at the contaminated site (OXIQ-LS), bioremediation by biopiles next to the contaminated site (PILA-LS), chemical oxidation next to the contaminated site (OXIQ-LS) and soil washing next to the contaminated site (LAV-LS).
This approval is valid for ten years and is in addition to those already granted by ASEA (Agencia de Salud, Energía y Ambiente) and SEMARNAT itself.
This type of accreditation is an added value to Litoclean’s services, as it guarantees the skills and knowledge of its team and allows the selection of the remediation methodology that best suits the conditions of each case.
