Litoclean promotes equality through non-sexist communication

The company has developed a basic documentation manual for companies with resources for using egalitarian language.

On International Women’s Day, Litoclean claims the importance of the use of non-sexist language, especially in the work and business environment, a simple action capable of transforming the culture of organizations.

Language has a close relationship with our thinking, creates imaginaries and reflects the society in which we live, which is why it is constantly evolving. Historically, acquired linguistic habits have made women invisible, especially in economic and business language. A correct use of language promotes equality among all people and promotes the role of professional women.

For this reason, last year Litoclean produced a practical manual on non-sexist communication for companies, which started with the first volume entitled Manual of basic documentation and contains linguistic resources to avoid sexism in the most commonly used documents, from contracts and budgets to payrolls and registration forms. This collection has been carried out jointly with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce (Spain).

Litoclean’s different offices around the world, including Mexico, have been the first to adapt their communications to non-sexist language, making a thorough revision of their texts and including a gender perspective in them.

The defense of equality is one of the company’s values, and this March 8, they are once again vindicating it.
