The objective is to execute the characterization and development of the plan and implement the technological remediation alternatives for the contaminated site.
Litoclean Peru has been participating in the project to develop a Remediation Targeted Plan for contaminated sites at a Peruvian mining unit since last June. The objective of the project is to execute the characterization and development of the plan and to implement the technological remediation alternatives for the contaminated site.
The development of the remediation plan for this mining unit is being developed within the framework of Supreme Decree 011-2017-MINAM, which establishes the concentration levels of elements, substances and physical, chemical and biological parameters of the soil, and by Supreme Decree 012-2017-MINAM, which approves the criteria for the management of contaminated sites.
The execution of the field work for soil quality characterization took place between June 10 and 21 and involved the collaboration of laboratories certified for soil chemical analysis. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of October 2022.
Decision-making in this mining unit is based on technical analysis, as well as on the recommendations and conclusions derived from field surveys, which are developed under strict quality control by Litoclean Peru’s specialists. The development of environmental studies as part of compliance with current environmental regulations is a very important task for the Tema Litoclean group, since it can provide support and environmental solutions to companies that trust in the experience and responsibility of our company.
