The Litoclean Team, bronze in the Ultra Clean Marathon

The team formed by company personnel was the one that collected the most waste.

The Litoclean Team took the podium at the Ultra Clean Marathon, a 60-kilometer race that aims to raise environmental awareness by collecting waste along the route and raising funds for environmental projects or organizations.

The Litoclean team, in which Marçal Bosch, Pol Aumatell and Sergi López ran, finished in third position and was the first in waste collection: a total of 35 kg that were deposited in their respective containers to be recycled. This success was possible thanks to the collaboration of company employees who organized the logistical support of the runners, such as Montse Oliveras, Carla Abascal, Foix Soler and Gemma Martinez.

In addition, the company’s proceeds went to Submon, an organization that works to conserve marine biodiversity and achieve sustainable use of the marine environment.

The race, in which 23 teams of 180 runners took part, collected a total of 550 kg of waste and raised more than 15,000 euros. First place went to the Merrell & Klassmark team and second place to Salomon.
