The Specialty in Groundwater and Contaminated Soil Investigation and Remediation can be taken between September 14 and December 23.
The accentuated growth in the level of demand related to compliance with environmental pollution prevention regulations experienced by the industry in recent years, and the need to define criteria for good practices in the characterization and restoration of contaminated sites, has prompted the articulation of this university training offer. In this way, the proposal seeks to respond to the current demand of the labor market by providing training in an increasingly strict area.
The Faculty of Geology of the University of Barcelona and the Col-legi de Geòlegs de Catalunya have coordinated this initiative that will present a remarkably practical approach, from where the tools to face the different stages of a process of environmental recovery of the subsoil will be taught.
The course will have among its teaching staff, specialists with extensive experience in the sector, from the field of public administration, university and private environmental consulting. Litoclean professionals will play an important role in the course.
