The company created by Litoclean has inaugurated the first waste treatment and valorization plant in Spain.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

In alliance with Codisoil, Litoclean has created Litosoil<\/strong>, a company dedicated to waste valorization,<\/strong> whose treatment plant, located in the municipality of Coir\u00f3s, in A Coru\u00f1a, was inaugurated in June.<\/p>\n\n

It is the first waste treatment and recovery plant in Spain<\/strong>, an example of circular economy and contribution to the economic and social development of the area.<\/p>\n\n

At its facilities, waste is transformed into resources that can be safely reintegrated into the natural environment. Valorization is carried out using bioremediation techniques, which ensure a process with a positive impact. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

Its creation responds to the existing need for soil remediation based on the new law on waste and contaminated soils<\/a>. Thus, from now on, any company that has disturbed soils will be able to consult Litosoil about the possibility of recovering them before managing them in a landfill. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

At the inauguration of the plant, the president of Litosoil, Bego\u00f1a Mund\u00f3, emphasized the company’s<\/strong> commitment to sustainability and environmental management<\/strong>: \u201cOur plant’s main objective is to transform waste into valuable resources and with the implementation of cutting-edge technology we will not only significantly reduce the waste sent to landfill, but we will also improve the quality of the soil and the natural environment\u201d. In addition, Mund\u00f3 highlighted the fact that it is a pioneering plant: \u201cIt is a model that can be replicated in other autonomous communities, positioning Coir\u00f3s and Galicia as leaders in sustainable environmental management.\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

After the guided tour of the facilities by Marta Gonz\u00e1lez, director of Litosoil, the general director of Environmental Quality and Sustainability of the Xunta de Galicia, Ram\u00f3n Boga, highlighted the importance of public-private collaboration to \u201clay the foundations for the implementation of the circular economy in the community\u201d<\/strong>. Boga also wanted to congratulate Litosoil for this business initiative that \u201callows to comply with the principles of proximity and hierarchy to provide a service to a Galician business sector that right now was neglected\u201d. <\/p>\n\n

On the other hand, the deputy of Employment, Industry, Demographic Policy and Environment of the Deputation of A Coru\u00f1a, Rosa Garc\u00eda L\u00f3pez, has described the project as \u201ca very important milestone in terms of environmental management and a clear example of circular economy\u201d<\/strong> and has valued its social and economic contribution to the area<\/strong>: \u201cThe location of this plant is very important, Coir\u00f3s is a municipality of demographic challenge and having a plant like this here will bring talent and work to prevent the rural areas from being uninhabited, which is something we are currently concerned about\u201d.<\/p>\n\n
