Litoclean celebrates a quarter of a century and we take a look at our history<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n

This year Litoclean celebrates its 25th anniversary as a leader in the soil and groundwater remediation sector. Since our beginnings in 1999, we have grown steadily, focusing on innovation, sustainability and the development of our team. Throughout this time, we have managed to position ourselves as a reference, both nationally and internationally, thanks to our ability to adapt to the challenges of the market and provide comprehensive answers to the entities that choose us. <\/p>\n\n

We take advantage of this celebration to look back and review the key moments along the way.<\/p>\n\n

Our beginnings and expansion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

We started our activity with an office in Barcelona and gradually expanded with others in Madrid, A Coru\u00f1a and Bilbao. At the same time, we went international with offices in Mexico, Ecuador and Peru. <\/p>\n\n

Always at the forefront of industry trends and technologies, in 2023 we opened the Litoclean Innovation Center in Rub\u00ed, where we research, design and assemble our own decontamination equipment. This space also has a laboratory that allows us to conduct pilot tests and develop new technologies adapted to the needs of each project. <\/p>\n\n

In 2024, in alliance with Codisoil<\/a>, we created Litosoil<\/a>, a soil treatment and valorization plant in Coir\u00f3s, A Coru\u00f1a, a project that reflects our commitment to the circular economy and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n

International impact<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Our actions have taken us to different continents, with presence in more than ten countries, where we have been involved in large-scale projects, such as the world’s largest soil decontamination project in Kuwait. We have also worked on projects financed by the World Bank in Ghana and we collaborate in European initiatives such as the Phy2Climate<\/a> project, within the Horizon 2020<\/a> framework. <\/p>\n\n

Our international experience has allowed us to achieve innovative and adaptable solutions to different contexts, always with the aim of protecting the environment and improving the quality of life in the communities where we operate.<\/p>\n\n

Team growth and commitment to training<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Throughout these 25 years, our team has been key to the company’s success and its growth is clearly reflected. To mention a few figures, in 2023 we experienced a 20% growth in staff and we are proud to have dedicated more than 14,000 hours to continuous training in different disciplines, which has made it possible to have a highly qualified and updated staff in the latest remediation techniques. <\/p>\n\n

In addition, we are part of the teaching teams in courses organized by institutions such as the Ag\u00e8ncia Catalana de l’Aigua <\/a>and we are speakers at relevant European congresses such as Aquaconsoil<\/a>, RemTech <\/a>and Bioremid<\/a>. Our commitment to training and knowledge exchange has also led us to participate in events in Latin America, such as those organized by OLADE and ARPEL, and to be part of the North American ITRC <\/a>council since 2019. <\/p>\n\n

Our prestige is reinforced by the trust placed in us by administrations, such as the Ag\u00e8ncia de Residus de Catalunya, which invites us to be part of the drafting teams of its methodological guides.<\/p>\n\n

Our next 25 years<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n

Looking to the future, we remain committed to continuous improvement and to offering tailor-made, creative, circular solutions, adapted to the new energy paradigm and contributing to a more sustainable world. We firmly believe that the next 25 years will be full of new challenges and we feel we have the capacity to face them with the same passion and dedication that have characterized us since our beginnings. We will continue to work to protect and regenerate the environment, caring for our soils and waters and leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. <\/p>\n\n
