On March 8, we celebrate International Women’s Day<\/strong>, a day that has been acquiring a global dimension in both developed and developing countries.\nIts commemoration has become a unifying element, strengthening support for women’s rights and their participation in the political, social, cultural and economic spheres. <\/p>\n\n On the business side, at Litoclean <\/strong>we are witnessing a significant and progressive increase in the presence of women in our team and, in particular, in managerial roles.\nSome 20% of our female staff occupy decision-making positions. <\/p>\n\n According to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE), in 2023 only 24% of CEO positions in Spanish companies were held by women.\nWe belong to this small portion of the business network, since we have a woman in the Executive Management.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n Breaking the glass ceiling in organizations requires commitment and concrete actions that promote the well-being of women and help build an equitable work environment with equal opportunities, which will lead to the consolidation of more prosperous economies.\nWe endorse the motto of the United Nations<\/strong><\/a> for this year’s celebration: “Investing in Women: Accelerating the Process. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" 20% of the women in our team are in decision-making positions.
